Recently we had a task to design and execute a special bus garage at Budapest located at the XI. district.
The main idea was to install solar panels in order to lower the electrical energy consumption of the site plus provide renewable energy for the already existing electric bus fleet.The produced energy is fed to the national grid trough the exsiting trasformers at 0,4 kV voltage level by using Growatt inverters.
The design and execution happened by an exemplary collaboration of subcontractors. As a result the support sructure was planned to serve as a bus garage to several buses.
The project goal was also to make an example of an alternative solution, that significant solar power plant could fit into metropolitan industrial zone, creating several benefit to the site.
As a sideeffect a simple bus garage was built by covering approximately 1100 m2 with solar panels.
